Plainly reads documents and explains what they say in plain English. It extracts
figures and dates, summarises content, and flags terms that commonly cost people
money.
Plainly does not provide legal, medical, financial or tax advice. It is a
reading aid. It explains what a document appears to say. It does not tell you
what to do, and it is not a substitute for a lawyer, doctor, accountant or
licensed adviser.
Plainly uses automated text recognition and a language model. Both can make
mistakes. Text can be misread, figures can be missed, and explanations can be
wrong. Always check anything important against the original document. Do not
rely on Plainly alone for a decision that matters.
You are responsible for any decision you make after using Plainly.
Plainly is free to download and includes one free document analysis. Plainly Pro
unlocks unlimited documents and follow-up questions.
Prices are in US dollars and may differ by region. Payment is charged to your
Apple Account at confirmation of purchase.
Subscriptions renew automatically unless auto-renew is turned off at least 24
hours before the end of the current period. Your Apple Account is charged for
renewal within 24 hours before the end of the current period.
Any unused portion of a free trial is forfeited when you buy a subscription.
You can manage or cancel your subscription in the App Store, under your Apple
Account, then Subscriptions. Deleting the app does not cancel a subscription.
Refunds are handled by Apple, not by us. Request one at reportaproblem.apple.com.
Your documents stay on your device. We claim no rights over them, and we could
not access them if we wanted to. See the Privacy Policy.
Do not use Plainly to break the law, and do not attempt to reverse engineer,
resell or redistribute the app.
Plainly is provided "as is", without warranty of any kind. To the maximum extent
permitted by law, we are not liable for any loss arising from your use of the
app, including any decision made in reliance on its output. Nothing in these
terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law.
We may update these terms. Continued use after an update means you accept the
revised terms.
