Pillbook

A medication reminder that handles the schedule your prescription actually has — and reminds you exactly as often as you want. Nothing more.

Built from the complaints

Pillbook was written after reading thousands of one-star reviews of other medication apps. Nearly all of them said the same handful of things.

“Every other day option doesn’t work.”

Schedules that actually work

Every other day, every Nth day, cycles like 21 on / 7 off, tapering courses, certain weekdays, and as-needed with your own limits. The real upcoming dates are shown before you save.

“Reminds you every 10 minutes. There is no way to change the interval.”

You set the nagging

Follow-up interval, how many follow-ups, snooze length and quiet hours — all yours, per medication. Or switch follow-ups off and get one reminder, exactly once.

“Only saves 30 days of history.”

Nothing is ever trimmed

Every dose you log is kept for as long as you use Pillbook. Export the lot as CSV for free, or generate a formatted PDF report for your doctor or your vet.

“Never received the code. I lost years of data.”

No account, no server

Nothing to sign into, nothing to be locked out of, nothing to leak. Your records live on your phone, with rolling on-device backups you can roll back to.

What’s free

Taking your medication is not a premium feature. Free forever, with no trial:

Unlimited medications · every schedule type including tapers and cycles · every reminder and follow-up setting · your complete history, never trimmed · CSV export of everything.

Pillbook Plus is optional and adds profiles for family members and pets, plus the formatted PDF report for appointments. It’s how Pillbook stays funded without ads or selling anything.

What Pillbook deliberately doesn’t do

Pillbook does not check drug interactions, suggest dosages, or give medical advice of any kind. It is a reminder and a record. Always follow the instructions from your prescriber or pharmacist.
